Superfast Zelda in 5:34
After Mario doing it 3 times, it's now Link's turn!
This follows the same route as the existing tool-assisted run on tasvideos.org (24:04, by Phil and Baxter), but goes about 4.3x faster overall (5:34) with the speed hacks. (not quite as perfect, though) It almost looks like a fast-forwarded version of that, but still at 60fps ...
PKMNwww411 suggested it on my channel comments last week, so I thought why not and did it within the last 3 days.
Again, you can get the IPS patch here to try it by yourself:

Tool-assisted run of my SMB1 hack (the "normal" path through it anyway), done almost 2 years ago but I finally decided to upload it after seeing a much slower attempt at it. A level 1 bat defeats a whole Baal army for mass leveling! This was made possible by merging a lot of iron boots (-100 to most stats) for an item with high negatives, which I used to lower each Baal's HP to 1. Triple EXP (shop wish) was on, and bats have lower EXP requirements per level, so that boosted the level gain even more.

Setting up a purification chain with 5 miracles in Cave of Trials 3 for a high bonus, the best I've gotten so far. Combined with triple EXP (shop wish) and a high item elemental, this was enough to get a level 0 item to 99 (max)!
